Cool Minecraft skins

Cool skins lean on contrast: dark armour with one bright accent, glowing eyes in a hood, neon lines on black. This set has knights, ninjas, cyborgs, mages, a bounty hunter, a void walker, a werewolf and more, all original characters we drew. Tap any skin to turn it in 3D, then download it or change it in the editor.

Why these look sharp in game

A skin is seen small most of the time, so cool designs keep to a few strong colours. Most of these use one dark base colour, one metal or cloth colour and a single glow colour for eyes, runes or trim. The glow reads from far away; the rest gives it shape.

Armour and hoods sit on the outer layer, half a pixel out from the body, so plates and cloaks cast a real edge as the character moves.

Giving a cool skin your own colours

The glow colour is the fastest change with the biggest effect. Fill the few glowing pixels with your own colour and a fire knight becomes an ice knight. Metal works the same way: fill the steel tones with gold or bronze and the highlights stay in place.

Keep at least one light tone near the face. If a skin turns into one dark block, use Lighten once on the front faces in the editor.

Download, wear or edit

Tap a skin to open its page, choose Classic or Slim, and download that 64×64 PNG; upload it to the game unchanged and pick the same arm model. To change it first, press Edit and it opens in our skin editor, which runs in your browser with nothing uploaded. Original artwork drawn in code for PixelPelt. Free to use, edit, share and sell; no credit needed.
