Cat Minecraft skins

Cat skins for players who would rather be a cat: a black cat, an orange tabby and a calico, two hoodies with cat ears, and the big cats, a tiger, a lion and a snow leopard. Each is an original character we drew. Tap one to turn it in 3D, then download it or change the coat in the editor.

How the cats are drawn

The full cat skins paint the fur over the whole body, with the face markings on the front of the head and the ears or mane on the outer layer, so they stand out from the head. The tail runs down the back of the body, where it shows as the character walks away from you.

The hoodies take a lighter approach: a person in a hood with ears, for players who want the cat idea without a full costume.

Paint your own cat

Start from the cat closest to yours and change the coat. Fill the orange tabby's base tone grey and it becomes a grey tabby with the stripes intact. For a tuxedo cat, start from the black cat and paint the chest, paws and muzzle white.

Eyes matter most. Cats read best with one bright eye colour, green, gold or blue, and a darker pupil pixel.

Download, wear or edit

Tap a skin to open its page, choose Classic or Slim, and download that 64×64 PNG; upload it to the game unchanged and pick the same arm model. To change it first, press Edit and it opens in our skin editor, which runs in your browser with nothing uploaded. Original artwork drawn in code for PixelPelt. Free to use, edit, share and sell; no credit needed.
