Affiliate disclosure
How PixelPelt makes a little money, and why it never changes the free tool or the advice you read here.
The short version
The editor is free and always will be. To cover hosting, a couple of outbound links are affiliate links: if you click through and buy, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That is the entire business model — there is no paywall, no premium editor, and no account.
Which links, exactly
Only two. The official Minecraft Marketplace, through Minecraft's own affiliate program (launched in 2026, paying 5% on Marketplace and Minecoins purchases, with subscriptions excluded), and Minecoins gift cards from Eneba, a currency-card reseller. Every affiliate link on the site is routed through a /go/ address and marked so search engines treat it as sponsored.
What we refuse to link
No “free Minecoins” generators, no account marketplaces, and no scams. Those pay well and prey on younger players; we exclude them on principle, not just policy. If a link here ever points somewhere like that, it is a mistake — email us and we will pull it.
Why it does not bias anything
The core of PixelPelt — making and downloading a skin — involves no purchase at all, so there is nothing for a commission to skew. The Marketplace and Minecoins links are for people who separately want to buy premium content; whether you use them or never leave the free editor makes no difference to what we tell you.
