Our take

Light adventurer's armour in studded leather; less knight, more ranger or rogue.

What it's good for

Rogues, rangers, hunters and travelling adventurers. It's a good choice when full plate feels too heavy for the character.

Design notes

Brown leather covers the body over a linen shirt, with pale studs set into it. The overlay holds shoulder guards and bracers on both arms (128 pixels per sleeve) and the side-parted hair (about 200 hat pixels). A belt with a buckle and a small pouch sits at the waist, and tall travel boots cover five rows of each leg. The face has a short beard.

Measured palette: the main colour groups in the file, with the share of painted pixels each covers.

Customise it in the editor

  • Add a hood on the overlay head in a dark green or brown.
  • Paint a strap across the chest for a quiver or a bag.
  • Darken the leather with Darken on the right side faces for a worn look.

Open studded leather armour in the editor to try these: it loads on the classic model, and the slim version is one click away too.

Classic or slim?

Opens on Classic. The bracers on the overlay sleeves look more substantial on Classic arms.
