Our take

A clean side parting with real height on top, thanks to an overlay layer that lifts the hair away from the head.

What it's good for

Smart-casual and school characters, office or detective looks, and anyone pairing hair with a suit. The ash-blond colour is neutral enough to recolour to brown or black without changing the shading.

Design notes

The parting is a single darker line on the top face, set off-centre, with the hair swept away from it. About 200 pixels of the hat layer give the top and sides volume, so the hair sits slightly proud of the scalp in game. The navy tee and stone chinos keep to two quiet colours so the hair stays the focus.

Customise it in the editor

  • Hide the overlay to see the flat base hair, then decide whether you want the volume or a flatter style.
  • Pair it with a blazer from the suit or school bases by copying their colours with the eyedropper.
  • Recolour the parting line one step darker than your new hair colour to keep the parting visible.

Open side part, ash blond in the editor to try these: it loads on the classic model, and the slim version is one click away too.

Classic or slim?

Opens on Classic. The navy tee has short sleeves, so the Slim version shows a little more arm; either works.
